Meet Chris Carlson

Living in Colleyville, I’m a proud husband and father, and I’m deeply committed to serving our community. My real estate journey started back in 2008, and over the years, I’ve learned the ins and outs of this industry, from home inspections to investing.

My background includes nearly 24 years as a Captain at the Grapevine Fire Department, an experience that taught me the value of dedication and service. During that time, I also owned NTX PROSpec, Inc, a professional home inspection company, from 2011 – 2021. This dual role enriched my understanding of homes, helping people make informed decisions about their properties. I retired from the fire department in 2022 and having previously worked as a Residential Mortgage Loan Originator, I transitioned into real estate full-time, joining Smart Realty in 2024.

I believe the key to success in real estate is being clear and open. It’s important to me that I know what you expect and need, whether you’re buying or selling, so I can provide the best service possible. I’m here to help you understand all aspects of your real estate transactions and am excited to help you achieve your investment goals.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, barbecuing, taking beach vacations, and playing golf, cornhole, and disc golf. I really love visiting Colorado to snowboard, or really to do just about anything— if it’s in Colorado, I’ll probably love it! I also give back to the place we call home through my role as an ambassador at the Colleyville Chamber of Commerce and as a member of the Colleyville Rotary. I feel fortunate and blessed to continue serving this great community and look forward to working with you at Smart Realty.
